The Bluegrass Regional Recycling Corporation (BRRC)

The BRRC is a 501-C-3 organization located in Richmond, Kentucky.  BRRC is dedicated to training and educating the general public and government entities.  The BRRC is also committed to developing workable recycling systems throughout Kentucky and the Nation.  As a corporation, we are dedicated to the support of our local communities and residents.

The BRRC also operates an 80 bed career development center and public training center where students attend class, achieve certifications, attend college courses, develop goals, and set a career path.

Our Bluegrass Career Development Center  was designed and built by the BRRC to meet the requirements of the Kentucky Department of Corrections (DOC).  The facility is conveniently located on land where the BRRC has established its recycling operations which processes materials for many of its county and city government recycling affiliates.  At our Career Development Center, the residents and general public are introduced into the working environment as they earn certifications in the recycling related industry, culinary arts industry, material management industry, lean manufacturing industry, and many more.  The earnings from their labor attribute to the monies that are sent back to the local governments participating in this cooperative marketing exercise which has returned more than $24 million from marketed materials in 21 years as a nonprofit venture.
